Terms and Conditions for Income Tax 2025 Promotion: Mastercard
Eligibility to utilise new user promo code MCTAX25N (Ends 31 August 2025)
- CardUp users with a Personal account and have not yet scheduled any personal payment ("Users") are eligible to enjoy a 1.55% CardUp fee on the first payment, which is an income tax payment ("Offer") in accordance with the following terms and conditions.
- The Offer is valid
(a) for one redemption per User, up to S$3,500 ("Redemption Limit"). Thereafter, the prevailing fee of 2.6% applies.
(b) on the first one-off or the first payment in a recurring series, which is an income tax payment within the Redemption Limit.
(c) with a Singapore-issued Mastercard credit card
(d) on payments scheduled between 17 April and 31 August 2025, both dates inclusive, before 6pm (SGT) ("Offer Period")
(e) for the utilisation by the Income Tax payor themselves and may not be applied for payment on behalf of any other party. Your NRIC/Fin number must correspond with the account's registered details.
(f) for the first 300 users' redemption. The offer will become inactive once fully redeemed. - Payment Set Up
(a) The payment due date must be on or before 3 September 2025 ("Last Due Date"). The payment due date is the last date the payment must arrive at the recipient. (b) The User must enter promo code MCTAX25N during the “Schedule payment” process when setting up payment details. The discounted fee for the eligible payments will be reflected before the User confirms and submits the payment.
(c) The User is not permitted to overpay the income tax amount in accordance with the IRAS issued Notice of Assessment (NOA) or Statement of Account (SOA) - Payment Review
(a) All payments are subject to review and additional documents may be requested to support the review.
(b) The User must provide all accurate references and documents to support the payment.
(c) CardUp shall not be held liable for any delays in payment processing or fee refund resulting from the User's failure to provide sufficient documentation. - The Offer is not valid:
(a) on any other personal and business payment categories outside of the income tax payment category
(b) on payment set up after Offer Period, or have a due date beyond the Last Due Date
(c) with non-Mastercard debit/preloaded cards or credit cards issued outside of Singapore.
(d) on any additional fees incurred for Next Day payments.
(e) on any payments in foreign currency

Eligibility to utilise existing user promo code MCTAX25 (Ends 31 August 2025)
- CardUp users with a Personal account ("Users") are eligible to enjoy 1.67% CardUp fee on income tax payments ("Offer") in accordance with the following terms and conditions.
- The Offer is valid
(a) for unlimited redemption per User up to S$5,000 ("Redemption Limit"). Thereafter, the prevailing fee of 2.6% applies.
(b) on all one-off and recurring income tax payments within the Redemption Limit.
(c) with a Singapore-issued Mastercard credit card
(d) on payments scheduled between 17 April and 31 August 2025, both dates inclusive, before 6pm (SGT) ("Offer Period")

General Terms:
- CardUp reserves the right to terminate the Promotion, or to vary, delete or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time at its absolute discretion (including without limitation the terms relating to the eligibility of any User and the dates of the Promotion).
- CardUp’s decision on all matters relating to this Promotion will be final, conclusive and binding on all Users, and no correspondence shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
- CardUp, its employees and campaign organisers shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or any injury that may be sustained by the User or by any person in connection with the Promotion.
- The User acknowledges and agrees that the collection, use, storage and disclosure of his/her personal data shall be governed by the terms of CardUp’s Privacy Policy.
- The User acknowledges and agrees that, in addition to the above-mentioned terms, they must abide by the requirements of CardUp's general Terms of Service.
- "CardUp" refers to CardUp Pte Limited, a company registered in Singapore.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and each User irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore in respect thereof. A person who is not a party to any agreement governed by these Terms and Conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act (Cap.53B) to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions.
